Location was great! The room was spacious, staff was courteous, basic continental breakfast included is a bonus. I was one block from noisy Bourbon Street in my quiet room. Also the restaurant and jazz club in the hotel was great. I was here last year and will return again!
Location and the true feel of New Orleans.
Positionin french quaters was perfect
Ref the prospect on your site you was bragging about breakfast was incl witch it was not acc hotel has not been for the last year.Breakfast was one of the reasons that I picked the hotel.
I liked the proximity to everything in the French Quarter. It was all within walking distance. The desk clerk on duty when we checked in, Charles, was excellent and a tremendous help.
The tininess of the bathroom. But hey, you don't go to New Orleans to hang out in a hotel bathroom, so it was fine.
Location and the Bombay Club
The guest at times were very loud and had their doors open so you could hear what sounded like groups talking. Mostly guests who were not considerate of the noise level. The flat sheets on the mattress did not stay tucked in. That was maddening.
This hotel is very well located, just 1/2 block off Bourbon Street. The room was clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly.
We stayed at this hotel last September and at that time a continental breakfast was included. That was not true this time and the person who was at the front desk when we checked in was the least helpful and most unpleasant person we encountered.
The location was great, about 50 meters from Bourbon Street and the staff were 2nd to none.
The location was superb for what we wanted. It was one-half block off Bourbon Street and very convenient to most of the attractions. Also, the rate was as good as one can get for that location. The grill in the hotel, while pricey, was very good for breakfast. The room while small, was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was very small. The stay was marred somewhat by rowdy neighbors who partied and were loud late into the night. The price of parking was rather steep at $28/day.
The location was very nice. It was located half a block from Bourbon street so there was easy access to food and only a few blocks away from Canal Street so getting to public transportation was relatively easy.
The walls of the rooms were quite thin, and you typically heard when other visitors arrived back into their rooms (especially late at night). The bathroom was somewhat small for two people.
Excellent location, just yards from Bourbon Street.
Beautifuly kept old hotel in the french quarter close to bourbon street but far enough away to avoid the late night party noise.
The hotel is very old and needs to be renovated. There were holes in the sheets and bedspread. The bed was very uncomfortable and could feel the springs. The room was musky along with the bedspread. The room and bathroom were very small and we had a king deluxe room. The tv was a 19 in. That worked half the time and was probably 20 years old. The walls were very thin and you could hear the person in the next room snoring. We went for a weekend romantic getaway. I tried researching the comments and reviews and thought I had picked a nice hotel. We were very disappointed. Our next trip will be at a hotel that we have stayed at in the past and know that it is nice and comfy. Bookers beware!
Valet service was good and cost $5each time car was parked or brought which was fine.Location is ideal for Bourbon Street.Room was large, clean and nicely furnished.Bed was very comfy. No noise from all the nearby bars and live music venues.
Breakfast let the Hotel down....the service was very slow and we had to wait over 30 mins for our breakfast. They said we were behind a big order but that was just for 4 people!??? Big order? Then there was all the shouting and arguing coming from the kitchen, which was really unpleasant and alarming to hear. The food when it came was lovely and tasted great but not worth the wait and the stress of all the shouting.
Very authentic and full of character- right in the centre of the French District but not noisy.
The location of the Prince Conti to Bourbon St was fantastic. Was a very short stroll to all the major bars and clubs in this strip. As a female on holiday in this area the location also made me feel very safe in terms of not having to travel too far to get back home. The hotel is not huge so there was no issue with large crowds moving around the and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only downside to the Prince Conti for us was the lack of a guest laundry facility. We were travelling extensively across the usa and in hindsight I would always select a hotel with this feature in the future.
